GARY SOTO: Hey was up long time no see Luis Rodriguez.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: I know right its been a very long time Gary Soto.

GARY SOTO: How you been.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: I’ve been good writing my new book and you.

GARY SOTO: Oh that’s good I’ve been find, so hows your son.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: He has been good lately.

GARY SOTO: that’s good is he still in gang activity.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: No he is through with all that.

GARY SOTO: That’s nice to know is he still in jail.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: He is but he is coming out on june and how has your life been.

GARY SOTO: Its been find Im trying to write this book but I cant think of nothing.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: So your trying to get inspiration.

GARY SOTO: yeah you think you could give me some tips.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: Sorry but I cant help you right now because im very busy.

GARY SOTO: Darnet, I thought we were friends but that’s ok I could tell my sancha to help me.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: Oh what you got a sancha ORALE!!!

GARY SOTO: Yeah but don’t tell my wife.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: DON’T TRIP your secret is safe with me.

GARY SOTO: Thank man, so was up with the book always running its pretty cool.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: Thanks I wrote it when I was in tough times.

GARY SOTO: OH I like the part when your wit that girl having a time of your life.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: I wrote that part because she was in the mood.

GARY SOTO: DAMN that’s g right their.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: Yupp I know

GARY SOTO: so what you been doing in your free time.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: I told you already writing a new book that’s kind of hard.

GARY SOTO: Damn man don’t give me attitude, so whats your books name.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: Its called MY LIFE IN THE HOOD.

GARY SOTO: That’s sounds interesting.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: I know have you been writing a book or what.

GARY SOTO: I have but I don’t know of what but probably I think im going to write about my child hood.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: That’s nice what inspire to write about that.

GARY SOTO: Well my childhood was pretty funny with all the playing and girls you know having around me.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: Pretty cool to write about that.

GARY SOTO: Well I have to go man so ill see you later or any time soon.

LUIS RODRIGUEZ: Alrite man see you later.

HOW I'VE GROWN AS A WRITER

How ive grown as a writer is by reading and writing and going to school. When i was in fourth grade i did a really good essay that my teacher liked it and she told other teachers and they liked it. Also i learned from reading because it gave me good ideas and new words on how to i also looked at the dictionary to see new words for i could do an essay. Also the things i like to do in my free time is to read books. So that were i get it from. I was one of the best ones in my class of writing becuase i did good essays and i even got a certificate of the best writer in class. Also one time i looked at this teachers essay and it gave me ideas and i started doing my own essay and i showed it to her and she said very good and strated clapping for me.
My favorite book of all time is one of the books of gary soto its just i dont remember the name of it but his book was good and it made me luagh and i almost pee in my pants. I think if i would keep writing i would be a writer and become famous.

Stream of Consciousness

The one thing I like to do on my free time is to play video games with my little nei The one thing I like to do on my free time is to play video games with my little neice and we play the wii. Also we play new super Mario bros and its really fun because we get to past the levels and stuff like that you know. I also like playing soccer because its one of my favorite sports and I always be juking people and doing tricks. I have my own team and my team is called tapatio you know because its cool. I also like playing football because its cool and all my friends from my neighborhood we play and its cool because a lot of people come and we play the whole street and it gets cool really!!!! One time my sister got really mad at me and she was about to hit me and I got my bb gun and shot her like three times and got more mad and she threw me a shoe and I got my ak 47 and told her SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND and shot her three more times and told myself I rule the world and the world is mine you know. And my sister told my parents and then I got in trouble and my mom almost hit me but I defended myself and got her hands for she wont hit me. Then later I got more mad at my sister for telling my parents and I got my bb gun and shot her again like the movies and started running because she was going to hit me. After she my sister sorry and it was told my parents again and my parents got mad at me and grounded me for one week. Later I had to tell embarrassing because I felt weird and that was all.

I picked this poem becuase its interesting and it talks about soccer and i like soccer alot and i love playing it and it talks about the newcastle team. And the trains are full tonight and that means that their is alot of people. It also talks about winning and fighting for we could win and those are interesting words and its exciting to know about wanting to win. Also about who gets the prize if us or the opponents and at last our team won and got tears on our eyes.

Wild Card Essay

My wild car essay is about random stuff. My favorite hobby is to play soccer and i like it alot becuase its cool. I like doing tricks and juking people and i drive them crazy. Also i play with my team and they are kind of good we almost won the championship but some kid missed a penalty so we lost. Also one time i went wild rivers and its a water park and its fun. So we went and i got on all the rides with my family and on one of them i almost fell of the ride and the securtiy saw me and they said not to do that becuase they thought i did it on purpose. So that was cool on that ride.
